This Privacy Policy explains how Open Sky Cargo SRL ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Romanian legislation.

1. Who We Are

Open Sky Cargo SRL is an independent Romanian freight forwarding company, operating as an affiliate of Davidson International Group BV (Netherlands). We act as data controller for personal data processed in connection with our business activities.

2. What Data We Collect

• Name, job title and company name
• Business email address and telephone number
• Business postal address
• Shipment and cargo details necessary for the performance of our services
• Financial and invoicing information required for billing
• Communication records (emails, correspondence)
• Customs and import/export documentation as required by Romanian and EU law

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide ocean freight, air cargo, road freight, customs clearance and local logistics services
• To prepare and send quotations and invoices
• To communicate with you regarding shipments and services
• To comply with Romanian customs, tax and transport regulations
• To share with Davidson International Group BV where required for coordination of international services
• To maintain accurate business records

4. Legal Basis for Processing

• Performance of a contract — to fulfil our obligations under agreements for freight and logistics services
• Legal obligation — to comply with Romanian customs, tax and transport law

5. Who We Share Data With

We may share personal data strictly to the extent necessary, including with airlines, shipping lines and handling agents involved in your shipment; Davidson International Group BV (Rotterdam) for coordination of international services; Romanian Customs Authority (ANAF) and other government bodies as required by law; and professional advisors bound by confidentiality. We do not sell or trade personal data.

6. International Transfers

Given the nature of international freight forwarding, personal data may be transferred outside Romania and the EEA where necessary to execute shipments. Transfers to Davidson International Group BV (Netherlands) are within the EEA and comply with applicable data protection law.

7. Data Retention

Financial and business records are retained for ten (10) years in accordance with Romanian accounting law. Other personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes collected.

8. Your Rights

9. Data Security
